Zhu Family Garden Hotel in Jianshui
I discovered Yuanyang by accident when I was biking across most of Yunnan heading for Vietnam… Passed a small of Jianshui on the way to Yuanyang, I stayed at the Zhu Family Garden Hotel. Jianshui was a wonderful place to visit with so much atmosphere..
For this hotel, no internet or email contact for reservation in advance, so better contact them by phone. But if no reservation , I think it is still fine…..Those rooms usually are not fully occupied if not on weekend or public holidays.

vintage interior with carved patterns red sandalwood furnitures but all equipped with modern amenities – TV & individual bath room and private courtyard outside.
Inside the closet, there is 2 Qing Dyansty outfits, one for man, one for woman. Guest may change into this 2 outfits for fun or photos.
