Unforgettable experience in Longsheng

On July 23, 2009, I followed Mr.Sheng to Yangshuo to meet an American tour group.  Mr.Sheng is an experienced tour guide.  He told me a lot of things about his job experience and local culture along the drive from Guilin to Yangshuo.  I really admire his excellent English and wide knowledge.

We went to Longsheng on Friday afternoon.  I always heard American girls screaming along the drive from Guilin to Longsheng.  Why? Those girls will scream when they believe that our car will hit chicken or dogs on the rough mountain road. However, I am used to this traffic situation. Finally, we arrived at Longshang terrace. It’s my first time to come to Longsheng.

I was totally attracted by the special ethic clothes, splendid terraces and natural scenery. I don’t exercise very much in my free time so I had trouble catching breath when I climbed the mountain.

We lived in a hotel which is located halfway up the mountain. In the evening we chatted with the guest before going to bed. Unluckily I forgot to bring a mosquito repellent. I got 30 bites in my arms and legs in one night. This is a really unforgettable experience.
