Village of Ginkgo Tree–Haiyang

Recently, temperature fells very quickly in Guilin. All of us felt that the winter was coming, but not autumn coming. Some colleagues remind that it is the time to go to Haiyang village for enjoying the beautiful scenery of the ginkgo tree in golden, as well as the delicious food–duck boiled with gingko nuts. We were all happy, plan has been made.

Haiyang Village is located in Lingchuan County of Guilin. It is also called Village of Ginkgo Tree, some trees are more than one hundred years old. You can see all the ginkgo tree in golden from middle of November to beginning of December every year, you may enjou the splendid scenery deeply. 600,000 Ginkgo trees covers in the village with 4 sq.km.. Haiyang becomes the No. 1 ginkgo tree village in China.

Ginkgo may have undesirable effects, especially for individuals with blood circulation disorders and those taking anticoagulants such as ibuprofen, aspirin, or warfarin, although recent studies have found that ginkgo has little or no effect on the anticoagulant properties or pharmacodynamics of warfarin. So, of course, the famous and delicious food there is duck boiled with gingko nuts.

Every year, many people go to the village for photograph, travelling and eating. We all went to the village in December last year, and we are going to there this year. Look forward to the delicious food and the beautiful golden scenery!
