Our tour guide will make a phone call before 10pm one day prior to your hotel to check if you have checked in.  So if there is any change of your arrival flight, please contact us at +86 20 22822049 (outside China) or 020 22822049 (in China).  You might ask for changing the tour to another day, or cancel the tour. 

Pickup time and back to hotel time
Usually at 08h30 from your hotel lobby, the time back to the hotel is 17h30 usually.  If extra hour is requested, please tell us in advance.  We might charge for extra working hours, accordingly to labor law.

Waiting notice
Our tour guide will find you via eye contact to pick you up from the crowd in the lobby.   Please do not worry!  We will recognize you!

Tour Itinerary:
① Pick up travelers from hotel on departure time, and then drive to the Simatai Great Wall. The ruinous state of this part of the Wall gives it an air of authenticity that has earned it the reputation of being the most beautiful section of the Great Wall. Unlike the sections to be seen at Badaling or Mutianyu that have undergone extensive restoration, the wall at Simatai has received very little attention. Here, the wall really looks as one would expect it to look some 500 years after it was built during the Ming Dynasty.

② This part of trekking is one of the most beautiful sections of the Great Wall. Today's hiking enables travelers to encounter as many as 150 watchtowers, battlements, terraces and turrets of the wall. There are sections of renovated and original wall with fantastic viewpoints.

③ Have traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch have a short visit of Beijing cloisonné arts. Cloisonné is famous traditional enamelware with a history of over 500 years. Cloisonné is one of the famous arts and crafts of Beijing. The making of cloisonné requires rather elaborate and complicated.

④ Driving the travelers back to their hotel.

Simatai Great Wall - 5.4 km long with all together 35 watchtowers. As the east section of the Gubeikou defense line, this magnificent section features great strategic significance.

Built hundreds of years ago, the Simatai Great Wall still retains all its original appearance. It not only incorporates a variety of styles of other parts of the 10, 000-li-long wall, but also displays some unique characteristics.

This section of the Great Wall is often described with the following five words: perilous, dense, diverse, ingenuous, and peculiar.
