Xiamen enjoys a convenient transportation.

By air
Located in the northeast Xiamen Island and 12 kilometers to the downtown, Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport boasts National Class B Trunk Line Airport. There have been 53 airlines of domestic service in existence and over 70 airlines reaching major ports of the world.

Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport is located on the northeastern tip of Xiamen Island, 10 kilometers away from Downtown Xiamen. It is only half-hour’s drive from the major harbor zones of Dongdu, Haicang etc. Tickets for the airport bus are priced at six Yuan /person. Go westward for 50-100 meters to exit the lobby of the airport terminal，then go eastward for 200-250 meters to arrive at the airport bus stop.  

By sea
As a key natural deepwater harbor at the southeast coast of China, Xiamen Harbor enjoys superior natural conditions. With islands of small and great Kinmen forming a natural barrier shield outside, it is wide, deep and ice-free with little silt. It has a total coastline of 154 kilometers long, 31.6 kilometers of which are suitable for ports construction. There is an anchorage area of 18.99 square kilometers，and a planning anchorage area of 52 square kilometers. The entrance channel is 40.3 kilometers long and 14 meters deep，and ships of 100-thousand tonnage can be anchored at the inner port.
