Shenzhen Climate

 

Shenzhen belongs to the humid subtropical climate. Generally speaking, the weather in Shenzhen is mild and temperate. The best time to visit Shenzhen is Spring, Autumn and Winter. There is plenty of sunshine and rainfall all the year round, so the city with beautiful green trees, and the flowers are blossoming all the four seasons. The average high temperature is 20-32°C and the average low temperature is 13-26°C.


It is cloudy in January and February, with occasional cold fronts followed by dry northerly winds. March and April are very pleasant, although there are occasional spells of high humidity. From May to August , the weather is humid and hot with occasional showers and thunderstorms, especially during the mornings. Afternoon temperatures often exceed 31 C. While at night, the temperatures usually remain about 26 C with high humidity.

 

July, August and September are the months that most likely to be affected by tropical cyclones, although gales are not unusual at any time between May and November. November and December enjoy plenty of sunshine and with the most comfortable temperatures, so many peope regard these as the best months of the year.
