Upon arrival at Beijing airport, pick up by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Free time for the rest of the day. Recommend you to take a walk on Wangfujing Streeet, the most busy shopping area in Beijing (optional).

After our Beijing city tour, transferred to Beijing airport for the flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival at Xi'an airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to the hotel.

After breakfast, transferred to Xi'an airport for the morning flight to Chongqing. Be met at Chongqing airport by local tour guide and transferred to visit Dazu Grottoes. Later transferred to board the ship for your Yangtze River Cruise, it departs Chongqing at 10:00pm. (Dinner is not included)

Day  8  Yangtze Cruise   (B,L,D)

Arrive Fengdu in the morning. Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (08h00-10h00).

Day  9  Yangtze Cruise   (B,L,D)

Sailing through the beautiful Wu Gorge. Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream (1:30pm-5:30pm).

Day  10  Yichang, Shanghai   (B)

Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site in the morning. Arrive in Yichang at 1:00pm. Pickup by local tour guide at the pier and transferred to Yichang airport for the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival Shanghai airport, be met and transferred to the hotel.

After tour in Shanghai, transferred to Shanghai railway station to catch the evening train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival at Hangzhou railway station, be met by local tour guide and transferred to the hotel.

Hangzhou city tour before departing for Haining city, in east of Zhejiang Province (1.5 hours driving). we can well witness the unique astronomical phenomenon-Solar Eclipse (take place on July 22nd, 2009) and watch marvelous spectacle that only the Amazon River's surging tide rivals it in Haining. Stay overnight in Haining.

Day  14  Hangzhou, Suzhou   (B,L)

Eclipse Day in Haining! The eclipse will start around 8:30am, and the max time of the total phase will last about 5 minutes. Our eclipse site has been arranged at the Qiantang River Tidal Bore viewing area. The inspection tour to the astronomical observatory is highly appreciated. After the astronomical shocking, drive for 1 hour to visit Wuzhen water town. Afterwards, drive for 1.5 hours to Suzhou. Stay overnight in Suzhou.

Day  15  Suzhou, Shanghai   (B,L)

You will be met by local tour guide at the lobby of the hotel, he/she will contact you in advance to fix the meeting time. Then drive to visit. After tour in Suzhou, transferred to Suzhou railway station for the evening train back to Shanghai. Be met by local tour guide at Shanghai railway station and drive to the hotel.

Morning free before departing for Shanghai airport for your flight to your sweet home. Your memorable Solar Eclipse Tour in China ends here.
