| Upon arrival at the Beijing airport, you will be met by our English speaking tour guide and transferred to hotel. Leisure on your own for the rest of the day. Recommend you to take a walk alone on Wangfujing Streeet, it is the most busy shopping area in Beijing. (optional) |

| [ Optional ] Wangfujing Streeet: Wangfujing is a 700-year-old commercial street. It has maintained its position as the number one choice for shoppers since the mid-1980s. The Wangfujing Department Store has long been acknowledged as the largest, most fashionable, and best known shopping center in Beijing. |

Temple of Heaven | The Temple of Heaven was built in the 15th century, a sacred site for ancient Beijing. This was where the emperor and his 1000 member entourage would retreat to for religious rituals twice a year. It is considered as the most supreme achievement of traditional Chinese architecture. | Tian An Men Square | TianAnMen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. Walk around there, imagining the great historic events of the 20th century took place there. | Forbidden City | The Forbidden City (Imperial Palace) in the heart of Beijing is the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in China. Its construction began in 1406. Twenty four emperors from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1644-1911) lived and ruled China from here. |

| [ Optional ] Kungfu show: The Legend of Kung Fu is a unique show in the Red Theatre. It celebrates the philosophy and skill of the Kung Fu martial arts through a unique story-line, dramatic design, choreography and breath-taking music. This show breaks the traditional Kung Fu mold. Because of Its poignant and touching story line combined with exquisite ballet and music, it is known as the best of Kung Fu show in Beijing. |

| The highlight today is the visiting of Great Wall. You might climb up and down the Great Wall by foot, or take cable car up the mountain, walk down the Great Wall by foot. The extra cost of RMB 50 for one way cable car will be paid by yourself. |
Sacred Way | This road was known as “shendao”, meaning "the way of the spirit". The body of the dead was carried across this route at funeral ceremonies. It is 7 kilometers long, starting at the Memorial Arch to the gate of the main tomb. | Ming Tombs (Changling) | Between 1368 and 1644 the Ming Dynasty had 16 emperors, and thirteen of them were buried in Beijing. This is where the tombs got their names from. The Ming tombs are located about 50 kilometers to the north of Beijing. | Badaling Great Wall | Spending about 1.5 hours to be transferred outside city to the surrounding countryside to visit the Badaling Great Wall, one of the most remarkable feats of mankind, built over 2,000 years ago. | [ Optional ] Peking Roast Duck: With its long history, Peking roast duck is well known among both domestic and overseas customers. The duck is hung in the oven and roasted by flame burning from fruit-wood. It takes about 45 minutes for the duck to be done. The finished duck is characteristic with crispy skin, tender meat and the fragrance from the fruit-wood. |

Beijing Zoo | The must-see area of Beijing Zoo is the famous Panda House, You can see lovely Giant Panda and lesser panda. Lakes and gardens abound in the zoo complex which is a weekend destination for families. | Hutong Tour by Rickshaw | Rickshaws are actually three wheeled bicycles often driven by old, retired men. There are fleets of them circling around the TianAnMen square area, and they are always willing to take passengers. It is nice to take a ride around the square in the evening. | Summer Palace | This is the largest and most complete imperial garden existing in China. It was first built in the 12th century as an imperial palace. Renovations and extensions in the following several hundred years till the end of the 19th century transformed it into the scale we see today. |

| Day 5 Beijing, Lhasa ( B

| Transferred to Beijing airport for the moring flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival at the Lhasa airport, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Free at leisure to acclimatize yourself to the high latituder. |
Lhasa | Lhasa has an elevation of 3650 meters and sits at the center of the Tibet Plateau. It has a history of more than 1300 years. It towers as a huge magnet attracting those who want to explore its culture. Entry into Lhasa allows each traveler the chance to glimpse into Tibet. |

| [ Optional ] Ramoche Monastery: it is one of the key cultural relic protection sites in Lhasa, located on the north of Barkhor Street, in the area with a local market and many traditional style Tibetan style civilian houses. |
