Zhaoxing is one of the largest Dong villages in the region, with more than 700 households and a population of 4000. The Dong people in Zhaoxing are all surnamed Lu and it's surrounded by lush fields and hills.

In the early morning, we will drive to Zhaoxing from Sanjiang (a town 3 hours drive northwest of Guilin). Our journey is Sanjiang → Zuolong, visit Tea plantation → Chankou, visit old Banyan trees → Yangxi → Diping, visit Diping Roof Covered Bridge → Zhaoxing. Total journey is about 160 KM. Stay overnight in Zhaoxing.

Day  2  Zhaoxing, Sanjiang   (B,L)

After our morning Dong culture visiting, we'll drive back to Sanjiang. Visit the Chengyang Wind & Rain Bridge. Stay overnight in Sanjiang. Take public bus to drive 3 hours back to Guilin next morning, the bus ticket cost will be paid by yourself. Usually a Guiyang-Kaili-Rongjiang-Zhaoxing-Sanjiang-Longsheng-Guilin trip takes 8 days.
