Hi Nancy! So that was a great but exhausting trip! Thank you for everything! I can now scratch China off the list of places to see! Staying at the Li-An Lodge in Guilin had amazing service!! but you should let people know when they stay there they need to pre-book dinner. We were originally told that we couldnt eat there but instead had to venture into the dark streets (with uneven steps/ground everywhere) to get dinner somewhe! re else because we didnt book dinner with them. In the end an American forced the issue and we were all able to eat there. and lastly its hard to receive emails from you at the right time in regards to who our tour guide was supposed to be. there were days where we where travelling/moving around all day without internet access...which kinda left us in the dark as to what to expect/who to expect to pick us up. Hopefully this helps with other peoples trips!!

Helen and our driver "Mr. Kir?" (I apologize, I never saw his name written, so I may be way off) were both excellent. I always felt safe with Mr Kir's driving skills. He always greeted us with a smile and several times even participated in our conversations.

I can't say enough positive things about Helen. She has such a nice personality and it was a true pleasure. We always felt comfortable while during the tour. She was very knowledgeable and informative. Her English was excellent.
