Badaling is a good introduction to the Great Wall. Authentically reconstructed, Badaling shows the Great Wall as it would have looked originally, and it does not look too new.
During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the temple was the site of imperial sacrifices to Heaven. It was here that the emperor conducted the ceremonies to appease "the Supreme Ruler of the Universe."
In recent years the Qingdao International Beer Festival has become a major event in the calendar of this beautiful city. The first Beer Festival took place back in 1991.
Located in the center of the ancient city of Lhasa, the Jokhang Monastery was built in the seventh century by Songtsan Gambo, the Tang Princess Wen Cheng.
There is a legend in Chinese ancient capital – Xi'an, but truly exists and has been lasting for thousands of years.
