Jingxi

Jingxi

Jingxi is an area of karst formations on a plateau. As there are innumerable solitary pinnacles and surface rivers that alternate with subterranean rivers, and all the rivers and pools are clear and shining like mirrors, the area is known as the "Museum Alive of Karst". Here in this dramatic and unusual topography, rugged mountains and deep gullies and interlocked like a jigsaw puzzle.

Not far from Detian are another series of waterfalls, comprised of the Sandieling, Tonghei and Aizai. All within the boundary of Jingxi County, each is a different and captivating sight. Jingxi was once the scene of the most intense border battles years ago, but today there are only the enchanting and peaceful mountains and rivers.
