Guangzhou is a beautiful tourist city and with a highly developed economy, Canton Fair is held twice a year here. it is hosted by People's Government of Guangdong Province and China's Ministry of Commerce, and organized by China Foreign Trade Centre.

 

China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, is held in Spring and Autumn each year since 1957. It is China's largest trade fair of the highest level, of the most complete varieties and of the largest attendance and business turnover. Preserving its traditions, the Fair is a comprehensive and multi-functional event of international importance.

 

In the fair, various types of business activities like economic and technical cooperations and exchanges, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consultation, etc. are also carried out in many flexible ways.

 

Canton Fair is embody the development of China's foreign trade as well as the history of China. It is a comprehensive national trade fair that can be described as with the longest history, the largest scale, the broadest scope of commodities, the largest number of participants, and the largest amount of transactions.
