Along Chuan-Qian(Sichuan-Guizhou) Railway, Zunyi lies in the north part of Guizhou, the prefecture has under its jurisdiction Honghuagang district with 12 counties and cities. It embraces the following tourist attractions: Zunyi Meeting Site, Red Army Grave, Xiangshan Temple , Yangcan Tomb, Loushan Pass, Chishui Scenic Resort and Alsophila spinulosa Natural Reserve, etc. As an ancient city on the plateau of north Guizhou, Zunyi is a famous city rich in historic and cultural heritage and it is also the tourist center of north Guizhou.
 Located at the center of the old city of Honghuagang district, Zunyi Meeting Site is a north-facing two-storey building of brick-wood structure with a combination of Chinese and Western style. In January 1935, Chinese Red Army passed through this town during the Long March and the 'Zunyi Meeting ' of historic significance, was held here by the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party.
Spinulosa Tree Ferns are genetically related to the giant trees which were coexistent with dinosaurs during the Jurassic Period two hundred million years ago. On the verger o extinction, they are rare and can be found only few places and has been named 'living fossils' by scientists. Chishuigingsha is the only nature reserve in this province approved by the State Council for the protection of Spinulosa Tree Ferns with graceful peaks and ridges, old trees reaching t the skies bright water falls and red cliffs rolling hundreds of li(1 km=2li)in side the reserve. It is an ideal place  for ecological travel and scientific survey. Located to the northwest Guizhou, Chishui scenic reserve mainly features in five sort of natural landscapes, waterfalls, immense forests of bamboos ,group of ferns, danxia landforms(giant red rock stone formations), virgin forests and the historic resource of the Long March. Its well-known beauty spots include Shizhangdong Waterfall, Hushi Immense Forests of Bamboo, Jingshagou Spinulosa Tree Fern Protected Area, Sidonggou Waterfalls and Ever-bright Moonlight Lake, etc. This are is praised by foreign and domestic experts both as ' City of Numerous Waterfalls', 'Motherland of Bamboo', 'Kingdom of Spinulosa Tree Fern' and 'First-rate Red rock stone formations'
