Qianling Park

Qianling Park, Guiyang

 

Qianling Park is one of the famous national scenic attraction, located on the northwestern part of Guiyang. It is named after Qianling Mountian, which is known as "No. one Mountain in South Guizhou".

 

Qianling Park with towering mountains and green trees, and the forests cover an area of more than four million square meters. It is a rarely seen forest park in the city. In addition, the park is home to a wide variety of birds and many macaques, which love to play with tourists, showing harmonious atmosphere between man and nature.

 

The park is crowed with local people, singing and dancing that can be seen everywhere. A big temple, named as Hongfu temple lies on the mountain, that with many buddha statues and many Chinese Believers.

 

 

Hongfu Temple

 

On the top of the Qianling mountain stands Hongfu Temple, is a Buddhist Temple that was initially built by Cisong, a Buddhist monk, during the year of 1672 in the Qing Dynasty. Now the temple is a provincial key cultural preservation.
